So much to buy, so little info!

Ok, I'm excited! Fireworks went on sale here yesterday. Right after noon I ran around to several of the nearby booths to get flyers and other info. The two Phantom booths I went to weren't setup yet so all I got was their flyer. TNT Freedom and TNT Red Devil both carry the same things, not sure why they need to have two different names. I was able to get a TNT flyer as well as some bad photos of a poster that details what comes in the variety packs.

My friend Pat also dug up info from yesterday's Sac Bee which rated a few of the larger fountains from both TNT and Phantom. Good info, and it also provides approximate burn times for each fountain.

Here's the PDFs of all the info I have so far:

Neither flyer lists everything the two brands have for sale at their booths. There's a lot more stuff on display that I have no idea what it does. I tried going to both companies respective web sites, and 99% of the info there is for their "illegal in California" fireworks. I was hoping I would find a Safe & Sane section. I was able to look up 2 or 3 things that I saw listed in the flyers, but that's all.

It seems like most of the stuff for sale at the booths is fountains, fountains, and more fountains. That's great, but I want some other options. Phantom lists a couple of pinwheels in their flyer, but TNT doesn't seem to have any at all. Strange. It also looks like Phantom sells at least one candle-shaped fountain, I'm guessing it's meant to be held like a roman candle. TNT has something called Crazy Eyeballs which I actually was able to lookup on their site. They sound like they are some kind of flower variation, will have to get a few to try out.

This year is definitely going to be a lot of experimentation to see what kinds of things I can buy and what they do. I think I'm going to have to build my own huge database listing names, types, burn times, and who knows what else.

Right now I'm just aching to go buy stuff. There's a booth right at the end of the street just begging me to come and dump lots of money! Must resist! Must resist!
